National Quality Policy and Strategy (NQPS): Financing for Quality
Financing the process to develop and implement a National Quality Policy and Strategy (NQPS) is an important step towards achieving universal health coverage. While securing adequate funding to improve quality of care is a challenge for many countries, others have been successful implementing financial mechanisms to incentivize high-quality care delivery, reducing fraud, waste, and abuse.
Join us as we share findings from a literature review and a country experience survey on financing for quality as it relates to an NQPS. We'll also hear from USAID’s Office of Health Systems, Zambia’s National Health Insurance Management Authority, and the Institute of Healthcare Improvement about challenges, successes, and promising practices in NQPS financing.
