Assessment of Structural Barriers for Venezuelan LGBTQI+ Migrants to Access Services and Exercise Rights in Peru
This report aims to delve deeper into comprehending the functioning of the social protection system and the interventions carried out by civil society, particularly concerning the Venezuelan LGBTQI+ migrant and refugee population in Peru. Additionally, it strives to uncover the obstacles that hinder their access to crucial services. Through this approach, the report aims to facilitate the identification of distinct needs, vulnerabilities, and the impediments these individuals face in exercising their rights or obtaining essential services such as mental health support, sexual and reproductive health services, gender-based violence assistance, and more. Ultimately, the purpose is to reinforce existing interventions and pinpoint the potential requirement for new measures, ensuring an inclusive and equitable approach to service provision.
