Informe: Adaptación y Validación de la Herramienta Evaluación de la Atención Primaria en Salud (PCAT) en Colombia

Este informe aborda la adaptación y validación de la herramienta de Evaluación de la Atención Primaria en Salud (PCAT) en Colombia. En el contexto de la reforma del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud y la estrategia de Atención Primaria en Salud (APS), se enfoca en la relevancia de la educación para la salud y la implementación de redes integrales de servicios. El proyecto surge de la necesidad de evaluar el desempeño del primer nivel de atención y se apoya en la herramienta PCAT. En colaboración con el Programa Comunidades Saludables de USAID, se validaron los cuestionarios y se desarrolló una aplicación para sistematizar la captura y análisis de la información. La prueba piloto se realizó en ciudades prioritarias con alta presencia de migrantes venezolanos. El informe proporciona un producto que permitirá al Ministerio de Salud utilizar y aplicar los datos en la gestión de atención integral en salud, evaluando la iniciativa de atención primaria a nivel nacional y local, beneficiando tanto a la población colombiana como a la migrante. ---This report addresses the adaptation and validation of the Primary Health Care Evaluation (PCAT) tool in Colombia. In the context of the reform of the General Social Security System in Health and the Primary Health Care (PHC) strategy, it focuses on the relevance of health education and the implementation of comprehensive service networks. The project arises from the need to evaluate the performance of the first level of care and is based on the PCAT tool. In collaboration with USAID's Healthy Communities Program, the questionnaires were validated and an application was developed to systematize the capture and analysis of information. The pilot test was carried out in priority cities with a high presence of Venezuelan migrants. The report provides a product that will allow the Ministry of Health to use and apply the data in the management of comprehensive health care, evaluating the primary care initiative at the national and local levels, benefiting both the Colombian and migrant population.
