Summary of Draft National Strategy for Epidemiological Surveillance, Control, and Prevention of COVID-19 – Uzbekistan

Based on a February 2021 LHSS assessment that found weaknesses in Uzbekistan’s epidemiological surveillance system, LHSS worked with the Government of Uzbekistan to develop a draft National Strategy for Epidemiological Surveillance, Control, and Prevention of COVID-19 and Three-Year Roadmap. This report summarizes the draft strategy’s recommendations for strengthening Uzbekistan’s infectious disease surveillance and rapid response system.
